The number of car accidents is increasing each year. There were an estimated 6,289,000 car accidents in the US in 1999. And in 2005 there were approximately 7,420,000 car accidents, 42,636 people killed and hundreds of people injured. According to the record, the financial cost for all these vehicle crashes is more than 200 Billion US dollars. But with the help of recycling and Used Auto Parts companies, the sum is decreasing and the damaged vehicles did not end up a total waste.

According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 70% of car accidents caused by bad driving behavior such as not wearing seat belt, using hand held mobile phones while driving, alcohol influence, and so on. 75% of motorcycle accidents happen because careless actions of the rider like one hand riding, following another vehicle too close, or riding with high speed in crowded traffic. I even saw a group of motorcycle riders perform wheelie and caught up in a mass accident. The motorcycles were totally ruined, the riders were all sent to hospital, and some of them end up dead. This kind of people who really think that bad riding/driving behavior is fun; actually have great potential not only to kill their self, but also to harm another people on the road. In order to decrease the number of accidents, we have to grow our self awareness about the danger of those bad driving behavior.
